About Megan
Getting to know Megan Marchildon
Small business owner. Community leader. Proud mom. Midland resident.
A neighbour who knows Midland
I'm Megan Marchildon, and I'm running for Midland Town Council because I believe our community's best days are still ahead and I want to help make them happen.
I own and operate MegaMindful Living, a local business in downtown Midland. Building that business from the ground up has given me a front row seat to the opportunities and challenges facing our local economy. I've created jobs, organized community events, and served residents every single day. I hear it all.
Through that work, I've developed a deep, practical understanding of what it takes to run a business in Midland and what our town needs to help more businesses thrive.

What drives me
Listen First
Good decisions start with understanding. I believe in hearing from residents, businesses, and community members before drawing conclusions.
Work Collaboratively
The best outcomes happen when people work together. I'll bring people to the table — not divide them.
Think Practically
I'm focused on real solutions that work for real people. Not ideology — just thoughtful, evidence-based decisions.
Serve Everyone
Every resident deserves a councillor who represents their interests — families, seniors, business owners, and newcomers alike.
A mother who loves this town
I'm also a mother, and that shapes everything about why I'm running. I want Midland to remain a safe, vibrant, and welcoming place where families can put down roots and build their futures.
I want our parks to be well-maintained, our programs to be accessible, and our community to feel like a place where children grow up proud to call home.
My leadership philosophy
"I believe local government works best when people feel heard, respected, and included. My goal is to bring people together, focus on practical solutions, and help build a stronger future for everyone in Midland."
